Macchia is a sculptural side table defined by its hand-painted surface, continuous bent form and bold, painterly character.
Moulded in fibreglass-reinforced resin, a single sheet folds into a softly rounded seat-and-leg profile with open sides. Each piece is painted by hand in layered patches of colour, so no two tables are exactly alike and the surface reads more like a canvas than a finish.
Compact enough to sit beside a sofa, bed or lounge chair, Macchia also works as a low stool or plinth for objects, bringing an artistic accent to Nordic and contemporary interiors.
